Senior Associate Director, Fund Accounting (Real Estate Funds)

About the role

MUFG Investor Services, which provides asset servicing solutions to the global investment management industry, is hiring a Senior Associate Director for fund accounting covering real estate funds in Singapore. The role is accountable for the quality, timeliness and control of deliverables for an assigned portfolio of real estate fund clients, including NAVs, financial statements and investor reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Review NAV calculations and key deliverables such as fees, waterfalls, capital activity and investor reporting to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Review investor and performance reporting, including ILPA-style metrics where required, and integrate valuation and operating results.
• Review financial statements and supporting schedules for compliance with accounting standards and client requirements.
• Lead planning meetings to coordinate deliverables, manage priorities and meet deadlines.
• Lead, coach and performance-manage team members, providing regular feedback and development support.
• Lead routine client and third-party meetings, act as first escalation point and drive issues to resolution.
• Oversee onboarding of new funds, guide transaction and reporting requirements and coordinate systems and reporting design.
• Manage resources for process improvements and document and resolve exceptions to standard procedures.
• Proactively identify delivery risks and opportunities to improve service quality and reporting.

Required profile

• University degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Professional accounting designation (CPA, ACCA or equivalent) preferred.
• 12+ years of experience in fund administration or audit.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex mandates, client escalations and delivery risk.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Yardi.
• Strong knowledge of real estate fund structures, investor reporting and systems.
