Senior Associate, Frontend Developer (React Micro-Frontend)

About the role

DBS Consumer Banking Group Technology is looking for a Senior Associate Frontend Developer to own the delivery of complex micro-frontend features for its digibank platform, which serves millions of users across multiple Asia-Pacific regions. The role builds cross-platform solutions that work on mobile WebView and web browsers from a single codebase.

Key responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of complex micro-frontend features for mobile and web platforms
• Develop scalable React applications using TypeScript and modern frontend technologies
• Provide technical guidance and code review for junior developers
• Optimize application performance across WebView and browser environments
• Collaborate with product managers, designers and backend teams to deliver customer-centric solutions
• Write clean, maintainable code following best practices and coding standards
• Take part in technical discussions and contribute to platform improvements

Required profile

• 4-8 years of professional frontend development experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Experience building applications for web browsers; mobile WebView experience is a plus

Required skills

• 4+ years of hands-on React and TypeScript experience
• Micro-frontend architecture and component-based design
• React Hooks and state management libraries such as Zustand, Redux or similar
• Web performance optimization and modern frontend tooling (Webpack, Rsbuild, npm/pnpm/bun)
• Preferred: banking or financial services experience, WCAG accessibility knowledge, design systems, CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright) and security best practices
