Senior Associate – Institutional Non-Financial Risk (Singapore)

About the role

The Senior Associate – Institutional Non-Financial Risk (NFR) will strengthen the NFR framework for ANZ's Singapore Institutional business. Working closely with business leaders and risk partners, you will help identify, assess, and manage non‑financial risks across Markets, Transaction Banking, Corporate Finance, and Coverage.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to provide guidance on non‑financial risk matters and support decision‑making within the bank’s risk appetite.
• Collaborate with risk and control stakeholders to identify, assess, monitor and manage non‑financial risks across the Institutional portfolio.
• Provide constructive challenge on risk themes, control effectiveness and potential impacts of strategic initiatives.
• Support implementation and ongoing application of the non‑financial risk framework, including governance, reporting and escalation processes.
• Monitor material risk exposures and ensure timely escalation of issues.
• Assist in translating regulatory requirements into practical business solutions and embed changes within risk and control processes.
• Contribute to the delivery and adoption of the PACT program to enhance risk capabilities and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in non‑financial risk, risk governance or related risk functions within a banking or financial services environment.
• Strong understanding of institutional banking products and associated risk considerations.
• Ability to work collaboratively with senior business and risk stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills, with a focus on influencing risk‑aware decisions.
