Senior Associate/AVP - Relationship Manager, Global Industrials

About the role

DBS Corporate and Investment Banking's Global Industrials team covers corporates in the capital goods, chemicals and materials sectors. As part of the IBG Global Industrials team, the candidate acts both as a Direct Coverage Relationship Manager and an Industry Relationship Manager, serving regional MNC clients and deepening client connectivity across Asia.

Key responsibilities

• Build relationships with new and existing clients, focusing on MNCs and working with Global Relationship Managers to strengthen client connectivity across DBS' network in Asia
• Handle day-to-day account servicing and regular credit and compliance reviews
• Contribute to deal origination and increase product penetration across product groups for mid and large corporate clients
• Prepare credit applications, including building financial models, reviewing cash flow projections and advising on financing terms and conditions
• Oversee loan and security documentation and negotiations for non-complex credits
• Execute account plans for assigned clients to increase share of wallet and deliver agreed revenue targets
• Research industrials sub-segments, identify common themes across industries and geographies, and work with product partners on industry-led product development
• Perform industry portfolio reviews and stress tests

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree with at least 5 to 7 years of experience in corporate and investment banking (managing large corporates preferred)
• Strong business development skills and results orientation
• Experience managing cross-functional teams in origination and execution
• Team player with excellent interpersonal and written communication skills and a drive to meet business targets

Required skills

• Strong credit and financial analysis skills and industry research experience
• Good working knowledge of corporate finance, treasury, capital markets and transaction banking products, including cash management and trade finance
