Senior Audit Manager – APAC

About the role

DEUTZ is seeking a Senior Audit Manager to expand its audit footprint across the APAC region. Reporting to the Chief Audit Executive in Germany, you will act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, driving risk‑based audits, improving governance, and supporting sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and execute risk‑based audits across APAC, including China affiliates, joint ventures and partnerships.
• Assess and enhance corporate governance, strategic implementation, compliance, internal controls and risk‑management systems.
• Translate audit findings into practical, business‑focused recommendations and monitor follow‑up actions.
• Partner with regional and local stakeholders to improve processes, efficiency and transparency.
• Prepare and present concise audit reports to senior management and global stakeholders.
• Contribute to annual audit planning and continuously improve audit methodologies, including data analytics and digital tools.

Required profile

• Commercial master’s degree completed.
• 6–10+ years of experience in internal audit, external audit or consulting within a multinational environment.
• Strong analytical thinking, independent and solution‑oriented work style.
• Excellent communication skills, able to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese; additional languages are a plus.
• Willingness to travel approximately 40–50% across the region.
