Senior Backend QA Engineer

About the role

A client building the future of finance is looking for a Senior Backend QA Engineer to join a fast-moving, global team shaping how the world uses crypto. The position is fully remote, based in Singapore, with fast-track career development opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute backend test strategies to ensure system reliability.
• Perform white-box testing by analysing architecture and source code.
• Build and enhance automation frameworks for efficient testing.
• Conduct API, integration, regression and performance testing.
• Validate distributed systems built with Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.
• Ensure stability and reliability across technologies such as Redis, Kafka and relational databases.
• Improve CI/CD testing integration to streamline development workflows.

Required profile

• Minimum of 3 years of backend QA experience.
• Strong fundamentals in Java programming.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Spring Cloud frameworks.
• Familiarity with Redis, Kafka and AWS RDS or similar technologies.
• Proficiency in API testing with tools such as Postman or RestAssured.
• Experience with automation and CI/CD integration.
