Senior Business Analyst – Banking Systems Transformation

About the role

A multi-year project in Singapore is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to work closely with the Group and local finance teams on the requirements for a new banking system, credit system and data mapping. The role also works with the European Head Office product owner, local regulatory teams, system subject matter experts, users in Asia and Europe, and the technical team during development and testing.

Key responsibilities

• Organize workshops with stakeholders and assess business needs
• Study with finance teams and vendors to align requirements, data mappings and scope
• Plan and drive application impact analysis
• Document detailed business requirements and functional specifications, and turn them into non-functional specs for developers
• Run UAT and ensure a smooth transition to new systems
• Build and maintain the backlog of requirements, transformations and adaptations
• Coordinate with teams across divisions and support the full lifecycle from elaboration to production
• Validate requirements and migration and testing strategies with the sponsor/product owner

Required profile

• At least 10 years of experience as a business analyst
• Experience delivering finance, credit risk and regulatory projects with multiple sub-streams and source systems
• Demonstrable experience in a similar role in the banking wealth management industry
• Full project life-cycle experience, including requirements analysis, workshops, testing and stakeholder management

Required skills

• Credit risk (limits, collateral, counterparty risk), regulatory reporting (Basel IV, local requirements) and core banking (loan/deposit lifecycle)
• Knowledge of the credit cycle and IFRS9 reporting implementation
• Advanced functional specification documentation and stakeholder management
• Good to have: accounting domain knowledge
