Senior Category Manager, Logistics – APAC

About the role

The Senior Category Manager, Logistics – APAC leads the end‑to‑end logistics procurement strategy for ResMed across the Asia‑Pacific region. Based in Singapore or Sydney, you will shape multi‑year category plans for container freight, ocean and air freight, express parcel, road transport, warehousing, customs brokerage and strategic 3PL/4PL partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Own the APAC logistics category strategy, spend, supplier roadmap and annual value delivery.
• Translate global logistics strategies into APAC‑specific commercial models and provide market intelligence to influence global direction.
• Develop lane‑level commercial strategies for containerized ocean freight, air freight, freight forwarding, NVOCC, and integrated transport modes.
• Design and govern high‑value RFI/RFP/RFQ processes, using total cost of ownership, should‑cost analysis and freight benchmarking.
• Lead negotiations, establish rate cards, indexation mechanisms, fuel and surcharge structures, and manage long‑term contracts with carriers and 3PL/4PL partners.

Required profile

• Proven senior procurement experience in APAC logistics, ocean and air freight, with a track record of high‑value negotiations.
• Ability to operate credibly at executive level within a complex, matrixed organization.
• Strong analytical mindset to balance cost, service, resilience and compliance.
