Senior Cloud Administrator Engineer

About the role

NCS, an AI tech services company and subsidiary of the Singtel Group, is looking for an experienced Senior Cloud Administrator with architecture-level capabilities to join its Infrastructure team in Singapore. The role designs, implements and manages scalable, secure and reliable cloud-based infrastructure, keeping hybrid cloud environments stable, secure and performant.

Key responsibilities

• Design, architect and implement cloud infrastructure across public, private and hybrid environments, and lead cloud migration and transformation projects
• Build cloud architecture blueprints and technical roadmaps, and implement Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, CloudFormation or similar
• Monitor and maintain Windows and Linux servers, and configure VMs, containers, serverless functions, networking, storage and security
• Administer load balancers, WAF, CDN, NetScaler, DNS (Windows DNS and AWS Route 53) and patch management
• Build Ansible automation, CI/CD pipelines and DevOps support for deployment pipelines
• Configure VMware vSphere and Hyper-V, and administer Windows and UNIX servers and middleware
• Manage encryption, key management and IAM, run security assessments and ensure compliance with hardening standards and regulations
• Provide Level 2 and 3 support, take part in on-call rotation, and mentor junior team members
• Maintain documentation, take part in capacity planning and evaluate emerging cloud technologies

Required profile

• More than 12 years of hands-on experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure administration or similar roles
• At least 3 years focused on designing, deploying and managing cloud solutions, preferably on AWS
• Demonstrated experience architecting hybrid cloud environments
• Preferred certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional), Microsoft Certified: MSCA, VMware VCP, RHCSA/RHCE, ITIL Foundation

• Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS) and Windows Server (2016/2019/2022)
• Active Directory, Azure AD, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP
• Application and network load balancers, NetScaler, WAF, CDN, VPN and hybrid networking
• Ansible, CI/CD pipelines, Terraform or CloudFormation
