Senior Consultant, Contracting Solutions

About the role

Michael Page, a global recruitment firm, is recruiting a Senior Consultant for its Singapore office to focus on contract, interim and project-based placements in banking, financial services and insurance. The consultant builds relationships with banks, insurers and other financial services organisations and manages the full recruitment lifecycle for time-bound assignments.

Key responsibilities

• Develop relationships with banks, financial services organisations and insurers, and identify opportunities from transformation programmes, regulatory projects, operational needs, leave cover and temporary skills gaps.
• Advise clients on recruitment solutions for interim appointments and project-based roles, and work with hiring managers on scope, duration, working arrangements and screening requirements.
• Manage the full recruitment process: client briefings, candidate sourcing and assessment, interview coordination, offer negotiation and assignment follow-up.
• Build candidate networks across operations, risk, compliance, finance and project and change management, and assess candidates against functional expertise, financial services experience and availability.
• Prepare recruitment proposals, negotiate fees and assignment terms, and coordinate internal teams on pre-employment checks, onboarding and assignment administration.
• Maintain regular contact with clients and placed professionals, keep accurate recruitment records and uphold confidentiality and fair practice.

Required profile

• Experience in recruitment, banking, financial services, insurance, sales, commercial development or account management; experience in financial services recruitment or contract staffing is an advantage.
• Interest in contracting solutions and flexible talent arrangements.
• Ability to turn business requirements into clear hiring and assignment briefs.
• Commercial awareness, clear communication and negotiation skills, and attention to detail on commercial terms and documentation.
• Ability to work independently in a collaborative team.
