Senior Data Analyst (Quick Commerce)

About the role

foodpanda, part of the Delivery Hero Group, is hiring a Senior Data Analyst for its Quick Commerce & Partnerships Analytics team in Singapore. You will work as an embedded thought partner with senior quick commerce stakeholders to shape strategy and tactics across 16 markets, mentor junior analysts and use AI to build the future of quick commerce analytics.

Key responsibilities

• Design and run analytical methods such as causal impact modeling and incremental ROI measurement on quick commerce investments (dark store expansion, assortment changes, delivery fees, discounting) and advise on capital allocation.
• Work with senior quick commerce, operations and supply chain partners to define measurement frameworks and metric definitions, and present insights.
• Build complex SQL models and turn large datasets into insights using BigQuery and dbt.
• Create dashboards in Looker or Tableau and agentic solutions such as root-cause analysis agents for delivery delays or stockouts.
• Mentor junior analysts and help them grow their technical skills.
• Identify and implement AI-powered analytics, including agentic workflows, LLM-assisted insight generation and prompt-engineered pipelines, and drive AI adoption in the team.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Statistics, Data Science, Analytics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of data analytics experience focused on SQL, Python, data modeling and data visualization.
• Preferred: 3+ years supporting Quick Commerce, Operations, Supply Chain or Commercial teams, with a track record of influencing leadership through data-backed recommendations.
• Experience leading or mentoring analysts, strong business acumen and communication skills, and ability to work independently on complex projects.

Required skills

• Advanced SQL, preferably with BigQuery or a similar data warehouse.
• Looker or Tableau.
• Familiarity with dbt and Airflow is a plus.
• Solid background in statistical analysis and data modeling.
