Senior DevOps Engineer (Trading Platform)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Trading Infrastructure team and help build a high-performance, low-latency trading platform that supports multi-asset trading. You will work on a modular system covering market data, order gateways, execution algorithms, risk engines and UI dashboards, ensuring scalability, reliability and security.

Key responsibilities

• Design, provision and maintain scalable AWS infrastructure, including VPC, IAM, EC2, Aurora, RDS and cost-optimisation.
• Build and operate CI/CD pipelines, observability stack (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki) and runtime environments for containerised services.
• Automate provisioning and configuration using Ansible and Terraform; manage Docker, Kubernetes and Helm deployments.
• Administer and tune databases such as ClickHouse, PostgreSQL (and optionally kdb+ or InfluxDB).
• Implement security best practices, secret management and disaster-recovery procedures.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to containerise services, fine-tune performance and integrate AI/LLM tools for automation and diagnostics.
• Enforce GitHub repository and branching standards and monitor resource usage to stay within budget.

Required profile

• 5+ years of DevOps or SRE experience in high-availability, real-time systems.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services and cost-monitoring tools.
• Proficient in scripting (Python, Bash) and comfortable working in English.
• Security-conscious with experience in IAM, encryption and secure system design.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional engineering teams.
