Senior DevSecOps Engineer (12-month contract)

About the role

We are seeking a highly capable Senior DevSecOps Engineer to join a fast‑paced project delivery environment. The role focuses on building secure, automated CI/CD pipelines, managing cloud and container infrastructure, and embedding security throughout the software delivery lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployments using IaC.
• Integrate security controls, scanning and compliance checks into DevOps workflows.
• Manage cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerised environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Support application deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting and performance optimisation.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure and security teams to ensure secure software delivery.
• Drive DevSecOps best practices, governance and operational excellence.
• Monitor system reliability, performance and security vulnerabilities.
• Participate in incident management, root‑cause analysis and remediation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across deployment and security processes.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in DevOps/DevSecOps within enterprise environments.
• Self‑driven, proactive and comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with cross‑functional teams.
• Ability to take ownership of deliverables, adapt quickly to changing priorities and support adjacent technical areas.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery settings.

• Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform.
• Containerisation: Docker, Kubernetes.
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation.
• Security integration: SAST, DAST, vulnerability scanning, secrets management, container security scanning.
• Linux/Unix administration and shell scripting.
• Monitoring & logging: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk, Dynatrace.
• Version control: Git.
