Senior Ecommerce Project Manager (2-year Contract)

About the role

We are seeking a senior professional to lead end‑to‑end delivery of ecommerce innovation and system enhancement projects. The role spans the full project lifecycle, from ideation through go‑live, ensuring scope, quality and timelines are met across multiple concurrent initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead delivery of innovation and system enhancement projects, managing scope, quality and timelines.
• Translate business requirements into structured specifications and collaborate with IT and vendors to design, implement and validate scalable digital solutions.
• Own and maintain a central execution tracker, risk register and project documentation as the single source of truth.
• Conduct data analysis, define KPIs and monitor performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
• Design and enforce standardised intake processes and SOPs for system enhancements and issue management.
• Prepare and distribute stakeholder updates, including weekly status reports and risk alerts.
• Facilitate workshops, alignment sessions and ceremonies to resolve trade‑offs and manage expectations.
• Proactively identify blockers, propose solutions and champion continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering or related field; advanced degree or PM/innovation certification is a plus.
• 5+ years of experience in innovation, digital transformation or project management with exposure to process improvement or system implementation.
• Experience with Hybris and NERP preferred.
• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and diverse stakeholders in a fast‑moving environment.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• High ownership mindset, able to work independently and under pressure.
