Senior Executive / Assistant Manager, Renal Medicine (1-Year Contract)

About the role

NHG is seeking a Senior Executive / Assistant Manager to act as Project Manager of a renal medicine research programme. The person will plan, drive and oversee the programme so that it is completed within the agreed direction, scope and budget, working closely with the programme leads.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the programme to meet schedule, budget and manpower targets together with the research programme leads.
• Provide administrative and operational support to all activities of the SPARKS research programme.
• Work with programme leads and stakeholders to keep work on track and agree on goals and deliverables.
• Guide the team to deliver the overall research programme objectives.
• Support budget management, project progress and personnel management, and report in the project charter.
• Review research programme plans regularly to identify issues that can be fixed or adjusted.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or graduate qualification in nursing, science, business or project management.
• 3 to 5 years' relevant experience in project management preferred.
• Experience managing complex programmes and projects.
• Able to elicit cooperation from senior management and other departments, and to adapt quickly to changing priorities.

Required skills

• Familiarity with programme/project management tools and software; PMP certification preferred.
• Working knowledge of Good Clinical Practice, clinical research, clinical trial processes and related regulations.
• Familiarity with medical and research ethics requirements and terminology.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
