Senior Executive / Assistant Manager, Strategic Ops Research & Analytics (5-Month Contract)

About the role

Woodlands Hospital, a new integrated acute and community hospital in Singapore, is hiring a Senior Executive / Assistant Manager for a 5-month temporary contract. The role supports data analytics and insights generation across the organisation, analysing operational and clinical data to find trends, patterns, opportunities and risks that inform decisions at strategic and operational levels.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies, risks and improvement opportunities, and develop quantitative models and predictive analytics for planning and forecasting.
• Build dashboards and reports covering operations, finance, manpower and safety, and support data collection, management and visualisation.
• Maintain clinical datasets and analyse healthcare data to support clinical quality monitoring, care value improvement and resource planning.
• Design dashboards and reporting tools, prepare summaries, presentations and reports for management, and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Support clinical and operational research, education and knowledge sharing on analytics, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Reporting Officer.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences, Data Science, Statistics, Healthcare Analytics or a related discipline.
• 3-4 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, healthcare analytics or a similar role.
• Preferred: experience with operational and/or clinical datasets, and with healthcare, population health, clinical quality or operational improvement initiatives.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access.
• Proficiency in statistical software such as SPSS, STATA, SAS or equivalent.
• Advantageous: dashboard development, data visualisation, familiarity with healthcare data systems and databases.
• Strong communication, analytical and stakeholder engagement skills, and ability to keep medical and personal data confidential.
