Senior / Executive / Engineer, Commuter Infrastructure Development

About the role

This role manages the implementation of commuter infrastructure projects, including the design and construction of cycling path networks, lifts to pedestrian overhead bridges, sheltered walkways and road repurposing. It covers supervision and timely completion of projects in line with budget, contract specifications, design, safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the implementation of commuter infrastructure projects, including cycling paths, lifts to pedestrian bridges, sheltered walkways and road repurposing.
• Supervise and ensure timely completion of projects within budget and to specification.
• Coordinate projects on contractual, technical and public relations matters with contractors, design consultants, government agencies and community stakeholders.

Required profile

• Civil or structural engineering knowledge.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in a project or construction environment, or in civil / structural design.
• Strong leadership skills and good knowledge of building codes and construction safety regulations.
• Detail-oriented, with strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• BIM and project planning / management software is an advantage.
• Experience in transformation and productivity in the workplace or construction industry is an advantage.
