Senior Frontend Engineer

About the role

Fuku is looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to join its growing team in the technology industry in Singapore. The role covers designing, developing and maintaining scalable frontend systems and applications, working closely with product, design and engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable frontend systems and applications
• Collaborate with product, design and other engineers to deliver high-quality features
• Write clean, efficient and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards
• Take part in code reviews, give constructive feedback and mentor junior team members
• Troubleshoot and debug issues in development and production environments
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and contribute to architectural decisions and the technical roadmap

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 5-8+ years of professional software development experience with a strong technical foundation
• Strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Required skills

• Proficiency in React and related development tools
• Nice to have: cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and cloud-native architectures
• Nice to have: open-source contributions, leading technical initiatives, microservices and distributed systems
• Nice to have: CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices and automation tools
