Senior HR Generalist

About the role

We are seeking a Senior HR Generalist to join our Global HR team in Singapore, supporting our JAPAC markets. The role blends strategic partnership with hands‑on execution, helping business leaders shape people strategy, drive growth, and ensure a consistent employee experience across the lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders and HR Business Partners (JAPAC & SAMEA) to build an inclusive, high‑performance culture.
• Translate business priorities into talent attraction, development, engagement and retention initiatives.
• Mentor managers, develop leadership capability and drive performance.
• Use data and insights to spot trends, risks and opportunities, aligning global strategies with local realities.
• Lead change initiatives, supporting teams through organisational transformations.
• Drive the full employee lifecycle from onboarding to off‑boarding, including talent reviews, performance calibrations and compensation cycles.
• Provide hands‑on employee‑relations support and collaborate with Employment Legal as needed.
• Ensure compliance with labour laws in Singapore, Australia, Indonesia, Thailand and Korea while balancing global standards.
• Review and improve local HR processes for scalability and employee experience.

Required profile

• 7+ years of progressive HR experience in regional or senior generalist roles.
• Proven experience in global or matrixed organisations, preferably in media or technology.
• Strong partnership experience with senior leaders and HR Business Partners.
• In‑depth knowledge of employment practices and labour regulations across key JAPAC markets.
