Senior Investment Counselor - Private Banking (Director)

About the role

Citi Private Bank serves the world's wealthiest individuals and their families, offering customized services to protect and grow their wealth. This Senior Investment Counselor (Director) role is based in Singapore and focuses on building and managing investment relationships with Singapore and Mainland Chinese ultra-high net worth clients. The incumbent is expected to be a recognized subject-matter expert with strong commercial awareness and excellent communication skills.

Key responsibilities

• Establish, grow and manage investment relationships with Singapore and Mainland Chinese ultra-high net worth clients, and bring in new clients and investment relationships
• Implement and oversee investment solutions and give advice and guidance on markets and actionable investment ideas
• Build and manage a practice centred on deepening relationships through investment advice and solutions
• Combine knowledge of traditional and alternative investments with wealth planning and private banking services to optimise client service and cross-marketing
• Work across currencies, asset classes, markets and jurisdictions
• Advise clients on brokerage activity and execute trades
• Assess risk carefully and ensure compliance with laws, rules and regulations, uphold the firm's reputation and escalate control issues

Required profile

• 15+ years of extensive experience providing investment advice and solutions
• Fluency in Mandarin
• Bachelor's/University degree
• CFA, MBA or other advanced degree is a plus
• Collaborative, team-oriented and able to work with internal partners
