Senior Lecturer, Teaching & Research (Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility)

About the role

The University of New South Wales seeks a Senior Lecturer to lead teaching and research in Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility. This full‑time, three‑year fixed‑term position is based at St George Hospital and the St George Clinical Campus, supporting both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver high‑quality teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate curricula, including clinical placements.
• Develop assessments, provide feedback, and monitor student progression and employability outcomes.
• Act as Program Authority for the Master of Reproductive Medicine, overseeing administration and academic quality.
• Lead independent, high‑impact research, building a nationally recognised track record.
• Foster research groups and capability within the discipline of women’s health.

Required profile

• PhD or equivalent experience in Reproductive Endocrinology, Infertility, or a related field.
• Current registration (or eligibility) with AHPRA as a medical practitioner.
• Demonstrated commitment to staying current with developments in the discipline.
• Proven experience in teaching design, curriculum development and delivery at higher education level.
• Evidence of research excellence with high‑impact outcomes.

Required skills

• Use of educational technology platforms for online and blended delivery.
• Curriculum development and continuous improvement.
