Senior Manager, Assembly & Test Supply Management

About the role

Micron Technology, Inc., a leader in memory and storage solutions, is hiring a Senior Manager for Assembly & Test Supply Management. The role leads supply assurance for Assembly and Test manufacturing sites, sets and drives supply metrics, coaches supply managers and procurement operation managers, and works with partners, suppliers and global procurement teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a strategic business improvement plan and support leaders in planning the global strategic direction of supply assurance for Assembly and Test sites.
• Own supply assurance metrics such as DSL, SSA, WOS, OTD and Buy Rule governance, and own operational execution metrics such as DIO, excess and obsolescence/scrap rate and slow-moving inventory.
• Help formulate a global supply plan, implement improvement strategies and address supply, supplier capacity and customer issues.
• Lead and coach Supply Managers and Procurement Operation Managers, set their performance and development goals and foster learning behaviours for AI and productivity improvements.
• Work with site stakeholders, procurement partners and suppliers on supply assurance strategies, ensuring partner requirements are met with cost-of-ownership justification.
• Communicate strategic goals, supply plans and targets to partners, suppliers and global procurement teams, and represent Global Procurement in customer-facing issue resolution.
• Build relationships with senior executives at sites and collaborate with procurement category teams to deliver end-to-end supply assurance.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Planning or Engineering.
• At least 5 years of leadership experience in supply management-related roles.
• APICS, PMI, CPM or CPSM certification.
• Minimum of 10 years of procurement experience in the semiconductor and manufacturing industry.
• Proven track record in fast-paced global manufacturing operations, strong leadership, problem-solving and relationship management, and ability to work independently and across cultures.
