Senior Manager, Assembly & Test Supply Management

About the role

Micron Technology, Inc., a leader in memory and storage solutions, is hiring a Senior Manager for Assembly & Test Supply Management. The role supports leaders in planning the global strategic direction of supply assurance for Assembly and Test manufacturing sites, holds them accountable for supply assurance metrics, and leads and coaches Supply Managers and Procurement Operation Managers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a strategic business improvement plan and support leaders in planning the global supply assurance strategy for Assembly and Test sites.
• Be accountable for supply assurance metrics such as DSL, SSA, WOS, OTD and Buy Rule Governance, and for operational metrics such as DIO, excess and obsolescence/scrap rate and slow-moving inventory.
• Assist in formulating a global supply plan, implementing improvement strategies and addressing supply, supplier capacity and customer issues.
• Provide insights and drive on procurement initiatives (AI first) and productivity improvement.
• Lead and coach Supply Managers and Procurement Operation Managers, set their performance and development goals and establish learning behaviours for AI and productivity gains.
• Work with site stakeholders, procurement partners and suppliers on supply assurance strategies, ensuring partner requirements are met with cost-of-ownership justification.
• Communicate strategic goals, supply plans and targets to partners, suppliers and global procurement teams, and maintain relationships with senior executives at sites.
• Resolve conflicts and represent Global Procurement in a customer-centric way, working closely with procurement category teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Planning or Engineering.
• At least 5 years of leadership experience in supply management-related roles.
• APICS, PMI, CPM or CPSM certification.
• Minimum of 10 years of procurement experience in the semiconductor and manufacturing industry.
• Proven track record in fast-paced global manufacturing operations, strong leadership, problem-solving and relationship management, and ability to work independently and collaborate across cultures.
