Senior Manager (Contracts Management)

About the role

The Contracts Section of the Building Division is the Centre of Excellence for construction and building contracts. As Senior Manager (Contracts Management), you will lead the governance and efficient handling of contracts across development projects, ensuring compliance, transparency, and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with project sections to secure timely procurement of contracts for development projects.
• Translate project requirements into quotation and tender documents, manage ITQ/ITT processes from preparation through evaluation and recommendation up to contract award.
• Coordinate with co‑users on integrated CCs projects, including fund release requests.
• Assist in budgetary forecasts, data collection, analytics, and set up backend databases.
• Ensure compliance with government procurement, financial procedures, and internal policies.
• Support internal and external audit activities related to tenders and projects.
• Improve internal systems, processes, and procedures for greater efficiency.
• Implement procurement strategies to enhance governance and operational efficiency.
• Participate in division project teams and perform ad‑hoc duties as assigned by senior officers.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with experience in contracts management and procurement within the construction sector.
• Strong understanding of government procurement and financial compliance requirements.
• Ability to collaborate across multiple project sections and stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset for budgeting, data collection, and audit support.
• Proactive approach to process improvement and strategy implementation.
