Senior Manager, Deliveries Strategy

About the role

Grab is Southeast Asia's leading superapp, offering food delivery, financial services and transport. As Senior Manager, Deliveries Strategy, you will be the primary architect of the business unit's strategic direction, defining the critical problem statements that determine where the organization invests capital, talent and operational focus. The Strategy function ensures coherence across Product, Technology, Commercial and Operations teams so that local initiatives align with a focused global strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Define strategic problems and generate hypotheses: turn ambiguous business opportunities into clear, testable problem statements with measurable outcomes, and partner with Product, Analytics, Commercial and Technology leaders.
• Anticipate emerging market shifts, customer behaviours and competitive dynamics before they become obvious to the wider organization.
• Maintain an integrated view of major strategic initiatives across functions, markets and leadership teams, and align senior leadership around the top 3 to 5 priorities.
• Clarify strategic trade-offs and identify misaligned, duplicative or under-defined initiatives, then drive resolution with stakeholders.
• Define decision-making frameworks and governance, including accountability structures with recommender and decision owners, and establish clear operating plans.
• Act as a thought partner to the executive leadership team on critical business, product, market and organizational decisions.

Required profile

• Minimum of 10-12 years in strategy or management consulting, including at least 5 years of leadership experience in high-growth, fast-paced organizations.
• Ability to frame problems with clear hypotheses and anticipate opportunities ahead of the curve.
• Expert-level command of decision-making frameworks and the ability to instill these habits in others.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a reputation for building trust with C-suite executives and cross-functional heads.
• Adaptability and resilience in the face of change and ambiguity.
