Senior Manager (Facilities Management)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Manager to lead the facilities management function for an assigned portfolio of properties. The role oversees daily operations, ensures high‑quality maintenance, and drives compliance with contracts and legislation.

Key responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for day‑to‑day operations of the assigned property portfolio.
• Coordinate council and general meetings related to the portfolio.
• Lead a team delivering integrated facilities management services.
• Supervise and coordinate maintenance and administrative staff.
• Perform maintenance activities to the highest standards expected by clients and owners.
• Ensure contract works and routine servicing are executed as defined in agreements.
• Review contracts, agreements and insurance policies before expiry and recommend renewals or initiate tenders.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in a property‑related field.
• 5‑8 years of experience in property management or business development, preferably in a senior facilities role.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive, responsive attitude.
• Proven ability to build relationships at all levels and to lead a team.

Required skills

• Knowledge of integrated facilities management requirements.
• Understanding of building maintenance practices.
• Familiarity with the Strata Management Act.
