Senior Manager (Facilities Management)

About the role

NUHS is looking for a Senior Manager (Facilities Management) to lead, oversee and manage Facilities Management, Engineering and Operations projects from planning through execution to final completion. The goal is to ensure a safe and conducive Environment of Care for patients, visitors and staff at all times.

Key responsibilities

• Manage Repair and Replacement (R&R) projects
• Implement inspection and acceptance activities for current and new facilities
• Analyse and investigate faults, complaints and hazards on building facilities, equipment and infrastructure
• Provide technical advice and assistance to user departments
• Run programmes for operations, maintenance and improvement of facilities, equipment and infrastructure
• Oversee the performance of the outsourced service partner
• Develop policies, procedures and work plans, and implement reliability improvement plans
• Update management on Integrated Operations and Improvement (e.g. Kaizen)
• Handle financial budgeting and expense monitoring
• Draft and execute contract documents and manage contract performance
• Act as project manager in various integrated operations areas and support audits, inspections and accreditation

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical, Mechanical or HVAC discipline
• At least 8 to 10 years of experience in Facilities Management
• Experience in contract management and procurement management
• Green Mark or sustainability certification is an added advantage
• Experience in a high-technology manufacturing or healthcare environment is an added advantage
