Senior Manager, Strategic Initiatives and Post-Merger Integration
Grab · Singapore
Job description
About the role
Grab is Southeast Asia's leading superapp, and its Strategic Initiatives & PMI team acts as the strategy-to-execution engine for the group's most critical enterprise-wide priorities. Working alongside the Corporate Strategy team under the Head of Group Corporate Strategy, the team tackles high-stakes, ambiguous business challenges and turns them into measurable outcomes. Reporting directly to the Head of the team, you will lead high-priority strategic projects, operational transformations and post-merger integration (PMI) workstreams, moving beyond pure advisory work to build practical business experience.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with strategy and executive leadership to frame complex corporate strategy questions (e.g. regional expansion, new business model entry) and design actionable operational roadmaps.
- Own the end-to-end delivery of large-scale transformations, defining the problem, sizing the opportunity and orchestrating cross-functional execution.
- Lead integration planning and execution for major regional acquisitions, support M&A due diligence, stress-test deal synergies and help achieve value capture targets across commercial, operational, product and people workstreams.
- Act as a thought partner to senior business leaders, translating complex analyses into clear, structured narratives to influence decisions and secure buy-in across country teams, verticals and functions.
Required profile
- 10+ years of working experience.
- Top-tier management consulting background (e.g. MBB or equivalent) combined with practical functional experience such as sales, commercial leadership, product management, go-to-market or business operations.
- Proven track record of taking strategies off the whiteboard and driving full implementation with measurable commercial impact.
- Willingness to travel across Grab's Southeast Asian markets as project needs dictate.
- Good to have: experience in technology, consumer internet, mobility, delivery, fintech or e-commerce, and direct experience leading M&A due diligence and post-merger integrations.
Required skills
- Problem framing and clarity of thought: breaking ambiguous problems into clear, MECE frameworks and workstreams.
- Stakeholder management in fast-paced, matrixed environments, driving alignment across functions without formal reporting authority.
What we offer
- Term life insurance and comprehensive medical insurance.
- GrabFlex benefits package tailored to individual needs.
- Parental and birthday leave, plus volunteering leave.
- A confidential assistance programme for employees and their loved ones.
- FlexWork arrangements such as differentiated hours.
