Senior M&E Project Manager (Property Development)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior M&E Project Manager to lead the delivery of mechanical and electrical projects for a property developer. The role involves overseeing all phases from planning to hand‑over, ensuring quality, safety and sustainability.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of M&E projects, including planning, design, procurement, execution and close‑out.
• Review and approve M&E designs, BIM models, shop drawings and contractor proposals across HVAC, electrical, fire protection, plumbing and vertical transportation systems.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, service providers and internal teams to drive value engineering, cost optimisation and compliance.
• Identify automation opportunities, optimise system performance and implement maintainability and sustainability initiatives.
• Support procurement, tender evaluation, factory acceptance tests, defect management and provide technical support for post‑construction operations.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of M&E experience with proven leadership in property development, main contracting or M&E consultancy.
• Professional sustainability certifications such as BCA Green Mark or LEED are an advantage.
