Senior Mobile Engineer – iOS/Android

About the role

Airwallex is expanding its native mobile experience and is looking for a Senior Mobile Engineer to lead the development of both iOS and Android applications. You will work on high‑visibility features that enable global B2B payments, expense management and card controls for millions of users.

Key responsibilities

• Own the design, implementation and delivery of new features across iOS and Android apps.
• Ensure the mobile experience is intuitive, performant and reliable at scale.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers and fellow engineers to define architecture and share best practices.
• Integrate Apple Pay and Google Pay, and work with modern frameworks such as SwiftUI, Combine, Async/Await, AndroidX, Coroutines, Hilt and Jetpack libraries.

Required profile

• Proven track record building native mobile applications at a senior level.
• Founder‑like energy, strong ownership and a bias for rapid, high‑quality delivery.
• Curious, collaborative and comfortable making decisions from first principles.

Required skills

• SwiftUI, Combine, Async/Await (iOS).
• AndroidX, Coroutines, Hilt, Jetpack libraries (Android).
• Experience with native iOS and Android development, including integration of Apple Pay and Google Pay.
