Senior Network Engineer - L3

About the role

Encora is seeking a Senior Network Engineer (L3) to provide Tier‑3 support for enterprise networks in Singapore on a 12‑month contract. The role involves hands‑on implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of multi‑vendor networking equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform problem resolution, escalation and closure of incidents related to routing, switching, firewalls and wireless infrastructure.
• Execute configuration changes, OS upgrades, patching and periodic maintenance on customer premises.
• Monitor network performance, bandwidth usage and generate proactive incident reports within 24 hours.
• Coordinate with vendors for testing, preventative maintenance and hardware issue resolution.
• Maintain inventory of devices, certificates, IP addresses and ensure compliance with security policies.
• Provide 24 × 5 onsite shift coverage and 24 × 7 standby remote support for critical incidents.

Required skills

• Expert knowledge of Cisco routers and switches (all series) and Cisco IOS.
• Experience with Juniper, Palo Alto, Fortinet firewalls and Cisco ASA.
• Proficiency in NAC solutions such as Aruba ClearPass and Cisco ISE.
• Wireless network design, access points, controllers and troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of OSI/TCP‑IP models.
• CCNP certification.
• Hands‑on with monitoring, network diagnostic, Packet Tracer and analytics tools.
• F5 load balancer configuration and support.
