Senior Occupational Therapist

About the role

Woodlands Hospital, part of NHG, is a next-generation integrated acute and community hospital in Singapore offering specialist outpatient clinics and innovative care models. It is recruiting a Senior Occupational Therapist, on a rotational or non-rotational basis within a multi-disciplinary setting. The therapist manages complex cases independently, coordinates projects and supervises undergraduate students and others in the department.

Key responsibilities

• Use activities with specific goals to help individuals with disease or injury recover and achieve maximum independence.
• Manage complex cases independently.
• Coordinate projects and supervise undergraduate students and other staff in the department.
• Provide guidance to juniors on assessment and treatment of patients with multiple complexities.
• May act as a Team Coordinator with authority from the Head of Department.

Required profile

• Recognized Diploma or Degree in Occupational Therapy, or a non-recognized diploma or degree with relevant qualifications such as qualifying exams.
• At least 2 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist in JG12 and below, demonstrating the competencies expected at this job grade.
• Full registration with the Allied Health Professional Council (AHPC), Singapore.
