Senior Operational Excellence Analyst

About the role

Foodpanda, part of the Delivery Hero Group, is hiring a Senior Operational Excellence Analyst in Singapore. You will own one operational process end to end across the whole region, not one country or one project. You define how the process should run in a dark store, prove it with data and drive it into every store in the region through the country teams. The role is diagnostic and design-led: success is a standard that holds in every market.

Key responsibilities

• Own a process domain across 11 markets, covering either inventory and availability or fulfilment and performance, including its operating standard, SOPs and targets.
• Translate the standard into something a store can execute on a shift and a country can audit.
• Measure and diagnose: define metrics within the regional framework, work store-level data to find root causes and turn headline numbers into specific, fixable causes with an owner.
• Benchmark against best-performing stores and other dark-store and quick-commerce operators, then design repeatable improvements such as layout, slotting, batching, cycle counts, shift planning and rider handover, piloting before scaling.
• Deploy through country ops heads and their in-store and fulfilment leads, running process clinics, supporting rollout and verifying adoption through audit.
• Run a regular review rhythm with assigned markets and track commitments to closure.
• Shape the tools needed from product and data, such as picker performance dashboards and handover verification, and prioritise them with Product.

Required profile

• 7+ years in operations, process improvement, supply chain or consulting; quick commerce, grocery retail, e-commerce fulfilment or warehouse operations preferred.
• Structured problem-solving, Lean, Six Sigma or equivalent; certification is a plus.
• A track record of measured improvements that lasted after you moved on.
• Comfortable on a store floor, with clear written and spoken English and influence without authority across markets and cultures.
• Willing to travel roughly 25%.

Required skills

• Strong analytics: SQL or advanced Excel and BI tools.
• Nice to have: dark store or micro-fulfilment experience, WMS or inventory systems.
