About the role
NHG is hiring a Senior Pharmacist. The role centres on safe and accurate medication dispensing, patient education and medication review, with support for pharmacy staff and students.
Key responsibilities
- Provide safe and accurate medication dispensing and comprehensive medication education to patients and caregivers.
- Perform medication reviews and interventions to prevent and resolve drug-related problems, with therapeutic recommendations that enable safe and cost-effective medication therapy.
- Assist in supervising pharmacy technicians and assistants in routine patient care activities in the outpatient pharmacy.
- Assist in the clinical education of students, trainees, healthcare professionals and pharmacy technicians and assistants.
- Take part in research and quality improvement activities with relevant stakeholders.
Required profile
- Degree in Pharmacy (or equivalent).
- Registered Pharmacist with the Singapore Pharmacy Council.
- Clinical practice experience of at least 3 to 8 years.
