About the role
The upcoming Eastern General Hospital (EGH) is seeking a Senior / Podiatrist for its Planning Office. EGH aims to provide excellent, person-centred healthcare covering emergency, acute and secondary care, and to be a great hospital for the community and a great workplace for staff.
Key responsibilities
- Diagnose and provide podiatric treatment, including wound management, minor nail surgery and biomechanics, to patients with various foot pathologies
- Educate the general public and other healthcare professionals on all aspects of foot health
- Take part in departmental clinical education and clinical training activities
- Supervise, facilitate and oversee the learning of support staff, students, junior staff and peers as required
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in podiatry
- A relevant postgraduate qualification is beneficial
- For the senior position, minimum 4 years' relevant hospital experience is considered
