Senior Product Designer – Examination Administration & Digital Assessment

About the role

GovTech is looking for a Senior Product Designer to lead the design of the Singapore Examination and Digital Assessment Board’s (SEAB) next‑generation digital platform. You will shape a unified system that connects exam registration, content authoring, delivery, marking and results management, ensuring trust, fairness and a seamless user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design of end‑to‑end user journeys across examination administration, authoring, delivery, marking and results management.
• Create intuitive interfaces for administrators, question authors, markers and candidates while maintaining consistency across distinct workflows.
• Visualise complex examination data, marking workflows and administrative processes for both technical and non‑technical users.
• Translate SEAB’s integrity, security and fairness requirements into user‑centred design solutions.
• Develop comprehensive design systems, components and interaction models to ensure consistency across all platform modules.
• Establish design standards that meet accessibility, security compliance and usability criteria.
• Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to ensure design feasibility within a composable architecture.
• Conduct user research and service‑design activities to inform design decisions.

Required profile

• Senior‑level product designer with proven experience designing complex, enterprise‑scale platforms.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating end‑to‑end design of user journeys and design systems.
• Experience working with cross‑functional product, engineering and research teams.
