Senior Programme Advisor - Digital, AI and Innovation

About the role

The UNDP Global Centre for Technology, Innovation and Sustainable Development (GC-TISD), part of the Digital, AI and Innovation (DAI) Hub, is based in Singapore and brings together government agencies, private sector actors, academia and thought leaders to share insights and co-create solutions for sustainable development. The Senior Programme Advisor provides programme coordination, technical analysis and stakeholder engagement support, reporting to the Chief Digital Officer and the Head of Global Partnerships and Engagement. The Centre's themes include digital foundations and cyber resilience, trustworthy and inclusive AI, digital and systems thinking, and innovation for climate, sustainability and sustainable finance.

Key responsibilities

• Operational and analytical support for the Centre's annual workplan, tracking milestones and results
• Coordinate the design and implementation of programme activities with the DAI Hub team and partners
• Support resource mobilization, including concept notes, and track budgets and financial management
• Monitor progress, flag risks and propose adjustments to the Chief Digital Officer
• Prepare research summaries, horizon-scanning briefs, policy briefs, reports and presentations on digital policy, AI and innovation
• Support events, workshops and convenings, and align the Centre's work with UNDP's Strategic Plan
• Identify partnership opportunities with private sector and technology companies in Singapore and the Asia-Pacific region
• Liaise with regional bureaux, country offices and Global Policy Network teams, and facilitate knowledge exchanges and expert convenings
• Manage donor and partner reporting, document good practices and set up performance monitoring and reporting against results frameworks
