Senior Project Manager – Fire Protection

About the role

The Senior Project Manager will lead fire protection construction projects from initiation through commissioning, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and in full compliance with Singapore regulations and client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and manage the full project lifecycle, including design, installation, testing, and commissioning of fire protection systems.
• Ensure all works meet SCDF requirements, Singapore Standards, NFPA codes, and other regulatory guidelines.
• Lead Project Engineers, Site Supervisors, and subcontractors, providing technical guidance and resolving site issues.
• Prepare and monitor project budgets, cost control measures, variation orders, and financial performance.
• Act as the primary liaison for clients, consultants, and stakeholders, maintaining strong relationships and clear communication.
• Implement QA/QC standards and enforce Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements on site.

Required profile

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Fire Safety Engineering, or a related field.
• 8–10 years of project management experience in fire protection or M&E construction in Singapore.
• Proven ability to manage multiple large‑scale projects simultaneously.
• Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.

• Fire protection systems (sprinkler, hose reel, hydrant, gas suppression, etc.)
• SCDF submission processes and Fire Safety Act knowledge
• Relevant Codes of Practice and Singapore Standards
• Technical drawing interpretation
• AutoCAD (advantage)
