Senior Project Manager

About the role

WPP Production is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the briefing, preparation and delivery of digital content for a major retail client. The role sits within a small creative production studio and requires strong project‑management expertise to ensure high‑quality output at scale.

Key responsibilities

• Own project resourcing, assignments and capacity planning across multiple initiatives.
• Participate in kick‑offs, content meetings, reviews and other project‑related sessions.
• Maintain the highest quality standards for all produced work.
• Generate and analyse production and capacity reports.
• Facilitate communication between internal teams and external partners.
• Manage content scope, track fluctuations and keep stakeholders informed.

Required profile

• 6+ years of project‑management experience in the advertising industry.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and build strong stakeholder relationships.
• Excellent organisational, time‑management and communication skills.
• Strategic thinking with a focus on detail, problem‑solving and continuous improvement.
• Experience working with global teams and adapting to cultural differences.

Required skills

• Solid understanding of file specifications, resolution and colour‑space requirements for digital and social platforms.
• Experience using content management systems.
