Senior Project Manager

About the role

Great Eastern is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery, enhancement and support of its Group Insurance Policy Administration system (GroupAsia) and Customer Information File (CIF). The role will drive AI‑enabled transformation initiatives while ensuring system stability, regulatory compliance and alignment with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of system enhancements, regulatory changes, technology refreshes and production support improvements for GroupAsia and CIF.
• Partner with business stakeholders, analysts, IT teams and vendors to define scope, timelines, budgets and deliverables.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including milestones, dependencies, resource allocation, risk mitigation and budget tracking.
• Govern project execution to meet agreed timelines, cost, quality and compliance with internal SDLC, governance and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee change management, release planning and production deployments to minimise business disruption.
• Identify and resolve project risks, issues and dependencies, providing regular status reports to senior management and steering committees.
• Support production incidents and major issues, coordinating cross‑functional teams for timely resolution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline.
• 8–10 years of IT experience, including at least 5 years as a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager handling large‑scale enterprise systems.
• Proven experience with legacy core insurance platforms (AS400, Java) and API‑driven digital front‑ends.
• Strong understanding of group insurance policy administration, batch‑driven processing and regulatory compliance.
• Demonstrated vendor management skills for outsourced development and support models.
