Senior Project Manager – Medical Device Projects

About the role

Cardinal Health is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of medical‑device product projects across contract manufacturing (CM) and private‑brand (PB) sites. You will drive project planning, execution, and cross‑functional collaboration to ensure timely, on‑budget outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage detailed project work plans using Cardinal Health’s PM system and methodologies.
• Coordinate with manufacturers to align on deliverables, schedules, and process validations.
• Identify risks and critical paths, implement mitigation strategies, and escalate issues as needed.
• Maintain accurate project data, reports, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead change development processes with cross‑functional teams and mentor junior project managers.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in the medical‑device or a related engineering‑focused industry.
• Proven track record managing a portfolio of engineering projects, including budget and resource oversight.
• Strong communication, leadership, and conflict‑resolution abilities.
• Willingness to travel internationally up to 30% of the time.
