Senior Project Manager - New Industrial Estates

About the role

JTC is looking for a Senior Project Manager to work on its new industrial estates such as Jurong Innovation District, Punggol Digital District, Woodlands Northcoast and one-north. You will act as the Owner's Representative for mixed-use industrial estates, representing JTC and managing consultants and contractors so that JTC's interests are safeguarded.

Key responsibilities

• Work with stakeholders across business clusters, land planners, architects, engineers, facility managers and government agencies to plan, design and develop new industrial estates.
• Take part in brainstorming, data gathering, evaluation and implementation of innovative initiatives in the estates.
• Provide project briefs and other information to guide the team in implementing the work.
• Manage all contracts for infrastructure and buildings within the new estates.
• Resolve technical and design issues with consultants and contractors.
• Coordinate with government agencies on development issues.
• Identify potential construction-related issues or contractual disputes and propose solutions.
• Ensure tender documents are complete and of high quality.
• Deliver buildings and infrastructure on time and economically.
• Account for the construction schedule, safety and housekeeping of the project site.
• Handle other administrative work needed for the development.

Required profile

• Background in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical engineering or in Architecture.
• At least 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in consultant or contractor firms.
• Team player with a positive attitude and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
