Senior Quantity Surveyor (QS)

About the role

The Senior Quantity Surveyor will oversee commercial and contractual aspects of main contracts and sub‑contracts, manage contractual risk and provide advisory support throughout construction, completion and hand‑over phases.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee commercial and contractual matters for main contracts and sub‑contracts, including risk mitigation.
• Review terms of service and deliverables from vendors and subcontractors.
• Provide contractual advice to project teams across all stages.
• Support the Quantity Surveyor team with monitoring, reporting and coordination.
• Drive continuous improvement of contract management processes and policies.
• Prepare and manage contractual correspondence such as extensions of time and change orders.
• Identify, assess and advise on contractual risks.
• Manage claims, disputes, settlements and resolutions.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in contract negotiation, administration or management.
• Strong communication, negotiation and analytical abilities.
• High integrity, dependability, urgency and result‑orientation.
