Senior Recruitment Consultant - Legal

About the role

Michael Page, a global recruitment leader with offices in more than 30 countries, is recruiting a Senior Recruitment Consultant in its Singapore office to place lawyers and legal professionals. The role covers end-to-end recruitment for law firms and in-house legal teams, with a focus on building strong client partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Build relationships with law firms and in-house legal teams, understanding their businesses, practice areas and hiring needs.
• Identify new business through market research, client outreach, referrals and networking.
• Manage the full recruitment cycle: client briefings, candidate sourcing and assessment, interview coordination, offer negotiation and placement follow-up.
• Build candidate networks across private practice and in-house legal functions through direct sourcing, referrals and market mapping.
• Use legal industry knowledge to advise clients and candidates on talent availability, remuneration and hiring requirements.
• Prepare recruitment proposals and negotiate fees and service terms within company guidelines.
• Take part in legal industry events and networking, and collaborate with colleagues across teams and locations.
• Maintain accurate recruitment records and uphold confidentiality and fair recruitment practices.

Required profile

• Experience in a law firm, in-house legal team or a role supporting the legal profession.
• Interest in a commercial role involving client engagement and recruitment delivery.
• Willingness to develop sales and negotiation skills and to grow existing accounts.
• Previous recruitment experience is not essential; training is provided.
