Senior Regional Business Development Manager

About the role

The Senior Regional Business Development Manager will originate and execute in‑licensing, acquisition and out‑licensing deals across multiple Asian countries and therapeutic areas, driving growth for Menarini Asia Pacific.

Key responsibilities

• Generate and qualify regional business development opportunities by leveraging industry networks, conferences and market intelligence.
• Assess commercial viability, regulatory pathways, market access and scientific feasibility of potential deals.
• Develop data‑driven business cases to support strategic decision‑making and executive alignment.
• Lead cross‑functional due‑diligence processes, identify risks and design mitigation strategies.
• Craft customized proposals and non‑binding offers to maximise win rates in competitive bidding.
• Drive end‑to‑end contract negotiations and execution, ensuring timely closure and alignment with business objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in biomedical or life sciences; advanced degree or MBA is a plus.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in biopharmaceutical business development, corporate strategy, portfolio management or related functions.
• Proven ability to evaluate clinical, regulatory and commercial risks and opportunities.
• Experience navigating complex matrix organisations and building high‑trust relationships across local, regional and global teams.
• Business fluency in English; additional Asian language proficiency is a strong advantage.
• High‑energy, self‑motivated professional with strong business ethics and resilience in fast‑paced environments.
