Senior Researcher Associate – Laboratory Sciences

About the role

Senior Researcher Associate will conduct laboratory experiments in microbiology, analytical chemistry, tissue culture and molecular biology to support animal nutrition and health research.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct laboratory experiments following established protocols in microbiology, analytical chemistry, tissue culture and molecular biology.
• Perform microbiological testing, maintain microbial cultures, run cell‑culture assays and carry out molecular biology analyses.
• Support development, optimisation, validation and troubleshooting of laboratory methods and assays.
• Evaluate new ingredients, formulations, technologies and scientific concepts for animal nutrition and health applications.
• Collect, analyse and interpret experimental data using appropriate statistical methods.
• Prepare technical reports, study summaries, presentations and scientific documentation.
• Collaborate with scientists, project leaders, cross‑functional teams and external partners to advance research and product development.
• Maintain laboratory safety, biosafety, chemical hygiene, equipment and inventory in compliance with GLP, SOPs and company policies.

Required profile

• Degree or Master’s in a relevant scientific discipline.
• 3‑5 years of recent hands‑on laboratory experience with exposure to microbiology, analytical chemistry, tissue culture, molecular biology and statistical data analysis.
• Strong laboratory, analytical, organisational and communication skills.
• Passion for scientific research, continuous learning and translating outcomes into practical solutions for the animal nutrition and health industry.
• Experience in a multinational corporation and willingness to work a 5‑day week.
