Senior Sales Executive - Building Materials

About the role

A company is looking for a Senior Sales Executive in Singapore to handle sales and trade accounts for customers in the building materials and construction sector. The role covers day-to-day sales, account management and technical support.

Key responsibilities

• Handle sales inquiries, prepare and follow up on quotations and tenders, and respond to customer feedback
• Plan and run tactical sales action plans to grow sales and profit margins, and achieve sales targets and performance goals
• Create new contacts and develop new business opportunities
• Provide technical sales and marketing support to customers
• Stay informed on market and industry trends and competitor activity, and work with stakeholders to maximise sales and profitability
• Ensure compliance with corporate governance and trade requirements
• Manage all trade accounts receivable for customers under your care, aiming for zero bad debts
• Achieve KPIs and other work assigned by management

Required profile

• Diploma in Civil Engineering, Sales & Marketing or equivalent
• At least 3 years of technical sales or customer service experience in the building materials or construction industry preferred
• Experience in project management and managing relationships with external stakeholders
• Strong team player with excellent communication, presentation and customer relationship skills
• Class 3 driving licence with own vehicle
• Willingness to work in a construction site or dusty environment
