Senior Site Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Site Engineer to lead and supervise construction activities on commercial building projects. The role involves coordinating with subcontractors, consultants and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget and to quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and review the master construction program and prepare catch‑up programs when required.
• Supervise engineers and foremen to ensure compliance with quality procedures and workmanship standards.
• Check the quality and quantity of work performed by subcontractors.
• Prepare detailed site programmes, method statements and work instructions.
• Resolve drawing discrepancies and technical difficulties with the technical team.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors and internal departments to meet manpower, material and equipment schedules.
• Liaise with consultants on submissions related to structural works.
• Plan all site works, forecast resource needs and control usage and wastage.
• Ensure adherence to safety practices on the work site.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in commercial building construction, including at least one full project cycle.
