Senior Site & Operations Director

About the role

The Senior Site & Operations Director leads HYVE Solutions' manufacturing footprint in Singapore and Wuxi, China. This executive role is accountable for overall plant performance, ensuring operational excellence, product quality, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction across a large, multi‑site operation.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee manufacturing facilities in Singapore and Wuxi, managing 450+ direct and indirect reports.
• Lead end‑to‑end production, quality, delivery, and cost initiatives to meet target metrics.
• Direct daily plant operations, including production planning, workforce management, material availability, and efficiency improvements.
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and best‑in‑class operational practices.
• Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with long‑term business goals and customer requirements.
• Coach senior managers and operational teams, ensuring succession planning and capability development.
• Ensure compliance with ISO, RBA, EHS, and other regulatory standards; manage internal and external audits.
• Control operational budgeting, resource planning, cost management, and capital expenditure projects.
• Partner with senior leadership to set strategic plans, objectives, and organizational priorities.
• Promote a culture of accountability, safety, collaboration, and employee engagement.

Required profile

• Degree or Master’s in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, Business or related field.
• 15–20 years of senior manufacturing operations leadership experience, preferably in electronics, IT hardware, EMS or high‑volume environments.
• Proven track record of leading large, diverse teams and delivering operational transformation.
• Strong understanding of quality systems, regulatory compliance, ISO standards, RBA requirements and audit management.
• Excellent strategic planning, budgeting, project management and stakeholder communication skills.
• Fluent English; Mandarin proficiency is a plus for regional engagement.
