Senior Software Engineer – AI & Data Science

About the role

LRDTECH, an AI technology company backed by Shell, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join its Singapore R&D hub. You will work on cutting‑edge AI, data engineering, high‑performance computing and geophysics projects that directly impact energy exploration and security.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and enhance core components of the AI‑focused technology stack.
• Apply solutions to real‑world, high‑impact client projects.
• Maintain high code quality and take ownership of deliverables.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computing, Science or Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong problem‑solving ability and abstract thinking.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, high‑expectation environment.

Required skills

• Python (mandatory).
• Experience with C, C++ or Rust (a plus).
• Proficiency with Git, Linux shell scripting and Vim/Emacs.
